I have worked two summers now full time as a counselor at summer camp back home called New Life Ranch!! I absolutely loved working there and with the kiddos! I loved getting to know them, make connections, and mentoring them! I have also baby sat for families from my church, so I would say I have pretty good experience.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Well I first start with asking to see what they would want to do. But personally I love coming up with crafts going to parks, and museums, also some down time is great too! Also doing little projects in the kitchen like baking and simpler sorts of things!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Following I have not been a nanny yet, but I have babysat multiple times. I feel it is really important to one, make the children feel seen and heard, but also that they can trust me, and feel safe. I also think it is important to let them be themselves, and let them make mistakes, so that we can help them learn from those mistakes and grow.
