A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Avery Manning. I’m passionate about working with children and plan to become an early childhood educator. I love helping kids learn, grow, and feel cared for in a safe, fun environment!

I’m currently attending Blinn College at the Bryan campus. For the Fall 2025 semester, I’m unavailable Mondays and Wednesdays from 9–11 AM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10–12 PM. For the Spring 2026 semester, I’ll be unavailable on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12–3 PM.

I do have a dog and set aside time for homework, but aside from my classes, my schedule is very flexible! I’m also open to overnight nannying.

I’m happy to help with school pick-ups and drop-offs, cooking or meal prepping, and assisting with homework and daily routines around the house. I am also great with pets, as I have a dog of my own and my dad is a dog trainer!

I completed 16 hours at Snook Independent School District observing Pre-K through 4th grade classrooms, where I supported teachers and worked directly with students. I also gained 16 additional hours of experience assisting and observing at Little Scholars Academy daycare in Bryan.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing hands-on, creative activities with children, like arts and crafts, reading together, playing educational games, and spending time outside. I love encouraging imagination through pretend play, helping with homework when needed, and finding fun ways to make learning part of everyday activities!
