More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have several years of experience caring for children of different ages. I started by babysitting my cousins, where I helped keep the house clean and organized, prepared and cooked meals and snacks, helped with homework, and spent lots of time doing fun activities like games, crafts, and outdoor play. While living in Switzerland, I babysat for families and enjoyed taking the kids to parks, playdates, and activities, as well as planning engaging things to do at home. I have also lived and worked in Canada as both a babysitter and a nanny, where I had more hands-on responsibilities, including daily childcare, cooking meals, cleaning, keeping play areas tidy, and making sure the kids felt safe, happy, and supported. I truly enjoy working with children and always aim to create a positive, caring, and fun environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Ienjoy spending time with children by doing fun and engaging activities such as playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading books together, and spending time outdoors. I like taking children to the park, playgrounds, libraries, and on walks, as well as planning creative activities at home like drawing, building, puzzles, and imaginative play. I also enjoy baking or cooking with children, helping with homework, and setting up movie or game nights. I always focus on making activities safe, age-appropriate, and enjoyable while creating a positive and happy environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is making sure the children feel safe, happy, and cared for. It’s about being patient, kind, and someone they can trust. A nanny helps guide children through their day, supports their growth, and creates a positive environment where they feel comfortable being themselves. Building a strong, caring relationship with the children and communicating well with their family is what makes being a nanny truly meaningful. Having a great relationship with everyone.
My experience with special needs children...
Yes I have experience with special needs children, for I have cared for my cousin who has Down syndrome.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was taking the kids to the zoo, which turned into a full adventure. From the moment we walked in, they were racing from exhibit to exhibit, shouting out fun facts, making animal noises, and asking a hundred questions at once. We laughed nonstop when the monkeys started copying us and when the kids tried to roar louder than the lions. By the end of the day, we were tired, a little messy from snacks, and very happy. It was such a fun experience watching their curiosity, excitement, and joy, and it reminded me why I love working with children

Babysitter Available in Lakewood Ranch, FL: Jenna M.
Hi!! My name is Jenna May and I am a responsible, energetic, caring, senior in high school and have experience working with children of all ages and pets of all kinds. I love creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for kids while helping with routines, homework, crafts, cleaning, meal prep, and housework. Through my experience, I have learned the importance of keeping children engaged, safe, and loved. I am currently taking an Early Childhood course where I have worked with children in classroom settings working with them in academic concepts and homework. I am also very active through sports so I enjoy spending time outdoors playing games, taking walks, and keeping kids active and entertained in creative ways. I love pets and caring for them whether it’s playing with them, taking walks, feeding, or providing basic care for them. I am so excited to meet you and care for your child and/or pets! Thank you so much!!

Babysitter Available in Lakewood Ranch, FL: Breanne R.
Hi there! My name is Breanne but I mostly go by Bre. I’m 28 and I am a born and raised Floridian from here in Sarasota. I have a full time job during the week 8-5pm. I currently do not have kids of my own yet, only my dog who I of course consider my baby. I am interested in becoming a nanny or babysitter as I love kids and have helped raise and take care of my sisters being the oldest child. Being that I want a child of my own one day, I’ve researched child/baby interactive activities for brain development and learning techniques to pull away from tablets. Whether it is making learning activities/games or Montessori activities depending on the age. I would love to be given the chance to babysit or nanny to widen my experience in this field as someone starting from ground zero. If you would like to give me a chance please don’t hesitate to reach out!
