I was a volunteer elementary tutor for grades K- 5th for 3 years. I also worked as a tutor for special needs children. I was a part time private dance instructor for kids teaching jazz,ballet, and hip hop. I was a babysitter as well for date nights and on call for many families.

I really enjoy singing and dancing with children. I love teaching kids new skills as well as doing hands on projects. Playing games that forces them to use there imagination. I would consider myself a energetic person, so playing anything that includes running, jumping, climbing, and etc.

What matters most to me is knowing that the parents of the children I care for are extremely satisfied. I love to know that I have taken some weight off their shoulders as well as gaining their trust and respect. It also matters to me that the children I care for are appreciative of my presence. Being a nanny I always want to ensure I’m working with an excellent family, one that treats me like family, very cooperating, easy going, while allowing me to still be myself. It matters knowing I’m doing something I love to do and doesn’t feel like I’m working. Being a nanny can be challenging at times but it’s overall extremely fulfilling and worth it.

Teaching one of my kids how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. For Christmas she made me a sandwich and put it in my stocking as a stuffer and it was nothing covering or protecting the sandwich.
