A little bit about me

I’ve stayed in Detroit a year now and I’ve been a nanny out in Ypsilanti, Westland and Detroit for some babies from newborn till her first birthday I’ve also been a nanny to a special needs child and I still am on occasions he’ll be starting school soon but since I’ve met him he’s improved so much from not saying my name to telling me what he wants to watch on tv to what he wants to play with and eat with help of his speech therapist and parents of course

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy painting and doing different learning activities with children just watching them learn and showing me their interest to going for walks or playing at the parks

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny I feel like is the bond some kids are very introverted when it comes to new people so when they get comfortable are you to be all snuggled up on you or want to play with new toys it’s very heartwarming it’s hard to want to just leave them after that

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special need children I’ve only sat for one and with them I’ve learned a lot of patience I usually will go to the parents if it’s too much for me to handle but I’m pretty good with calming them down if they don’t want to do something I’ll usually back down and let them ease into doing it themselves because you don’t want to force stuff on to them it will get you nowhere but you stressed out and the child also so you really do need to be patience with them

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment are the children you’ve watch seeing them progress, im so grateful and happy to watch them show me new stuff they learn or can do because it’s something they also are so excited to show
