More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My Precious Angels Daycare, where I helped with infants through preschool-aged kids, daily routines, learning activities, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. I’ve also provided regular babysitting for families with children from infants to teens, handling meals, bedtime, homework, and after-school routines. In addition, I’ve helped in a church nursery/Sunday program, assisting with group play, crafts, and keeping children engaged and calm. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication, and ability to manage different ages and needs while staying positive and dependable.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Coloring, stickers, or simple crafts,
Play-Doh or sensory bins (supervised),
Story time or acting out a book,
Building blocks/Legos (age-appropriate pieces),
Puzzles, matching games, or memory cards as indoor activities. I also like to keep their brain busy so I do Alphabet/number games,
Flash cards or reading practice,
Simple science (ice melting, water play),
Baking or snack prep (no stove without permission),
Journaling or drawing how they feel also indoor. For outdoor Playground time (stay within arm’s reach for young kids)
Sidewalk chalk,
Nature walk or leaf collecting,
Bubbles,
And Ball games (no street play).

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where a child feels supported and understood. Kids grow their best when they know they can trust the person caring for them, so I focus on building real connections through patience, communication, and respect. It’s not just about watching children it’s about helping them learn, feel confident, and stay secure while their parents are away. For me, being a nanny means showing up every day with reliability, kindness, and a positive attitude so families can have complete peace of mind.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes supporting kids with developmental and behavioral differences such as autism, ADHD, and sensory sensitivities. I focus on patience, routine, and clear communication to help them feel comfortable and understood. I’m experienced with calming techniques, visual schedules, and adapting activities so every child can participate at their own pace. I always follow parent instructions, respect individual needs, and create a safe, positive environment where each child can thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when the little girl I cared for finally learned to tie her shoes on her own. We had practiced every morning, and she would get frustrated, but we kept trying together. The day she got it, she looked up at me with the biggest smile and said, “I did it without help!” She ran over and hugged me, and I’ll never forget how proud she was. It reminded me how important patience and encouragement are, and how even small milestones can mean the world to a child. Moments like that motivate me to show up with love, support, and consistency because helping kids grow confidently is the best part of what I do.

I have been caring for children for as long as I can remember. Starting with watching my younger cousins when I was a pre-teen, I got my first officially childcare position at the age of 13. Since then, I have held positions at three other daycares, working closely with children ranging from a few months old to at least 11 or 12 years of age. Children, caring for them, and protecting their rights has always been a passion of mine! I am currently in college obtaining my Bachelors degree in English Literature.

Babysitter Available in Buffalo, NY: Carlee W.
Hello, my name is Carlee. I am a 18 year old college student studying Medicine. I am currently working for OPWDD, but I am looking for some extra cash on the side. I have a huge family, and I’m the oldest out of all of my siblings. So of course I was the one babysitting, I am very grateful for the all of the experiences my siblings and little cousins shared with me. These experiences have pushed me to get me MD. Now I am still a little undecided if I want to be an Obstetrician Gynecologist or a Pediatrician but being around children my whole life has definitely made me love and be more knowledgeable on the stages of life.
