A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Bailey Mercer and I am a child care professional at the only Montessori school in Springfield Missouri. I began my child care journey, my sophomore year of high school through a church based musical theater summer camp in Lewisville, Texas which I worked at every summer until college. Now, I am an afterschool care provider, as well as occasionally an assistant teacher in the classroom. I have been trained on the pillars of Montessori education, and have received my CPR and first aid certifications. I am easily comfortable caring for as many as eight children at one time.

Outside of childcare, I am a sophomore BFA musical theatre major at one of the top 20 schools in the country. My dream is to move to New York and perform, while supporting myself financially as a childcare professional.
