Hi! My name is bailey. I am 20 years old and graduated from high school & dental assisting school in 2023. I am looking to work full-time while I pursue an online college degree. I got back in early 2024 from teaching English to little kids in Thailand for 3 months, and I absolutely loved every second of it. I also nannied straight out of high school until I left for my exchange program and worked with them again until I left for school! I am CPR & first aid certified, and I also have a background check! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I nannyed for about 6 months until I left for my exchange program. Once I got back from that, I nannied again for about 9 months until I left for school. It was the best work experience I have ever had. I loved those kids so much, it was so hard leaving them! Another thing is that for the past 5 years and my best friend have run a kids camp every summer, to earn money. We would normally have around 18 - 30 kids every week from all age groups! I also took multiple child development classes in High School and have certifications from those classes! I was also a primary teacher in my church for a year and then in nursery for another year.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love all kinds of activities, but I think I prefer outdoor activities more. I think it's really important for kids to be able to play outdoors. Some of my favorite memories as a child were outside. I also love to do arts and crafts with children as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is just to have a strong bond with the kids, so that they trust you and you can build a relationship. I think it's so important to have that strong relationship with the kids so that they trust you, and you can become the best nanny for them as you can.

My experience with special needs children...

I haven't had a ton of experience, but for 2 years in high school, I was a peer tutor for a special needs class at my school. I think that class has taught me a lot and helped me get a lot more experience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I loved the kids I nannyed for so much! I just loved spending time with them and developing such close relationships with them! I loved seeing them be able to hit new milestones and being able to be a part of their special moments. I also just loved being able to be a safe person for them, and being someone that they felt comfortable around.
