My experience with special needs children...
I have multiple cousins with ADHD and one with autism and I babysat them for years. Learning to figure out ways to get them to come out of their shell and adjust to life was something I was very passionate about at a young age. In camp counseling I had a young girl with autism and ADD and watching her struggle and then come through it was quite rewarding.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is anytime a kid laughs and you know it’s because they’re having a good time. I love to see genuine joy on a child’s face it makes me whole.
