I worked at Camp Thurman (a Christian summer day camp for children from ages 4-11) for 6 years.
I have worked at two daycares for a combined 3 years.
I worked at Arlington Classics Academy as a paraprofessional technology teacher.
I was a nanny for four kids aged 2 to 6 for a year.
I have been babysitting and working in the nursery at my church since I could drive (ten years ago).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy coloring, painting and doing art with kids. I love playing with play-doh and other sensory activities that help with development.
I also love coming up with silly games to play inside and outside. I try to get outside as much as possible as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Keeping kids safe while having fun and learning about the world around us. The first few years of a child's life are SO vital and I am so incredibly honored and grateful that so many people have entrusted me with their precious children during that time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was 4 years ago I was playing outside with the four kids I nannied during the summer. We were running around and playing in the sprinklers together for about 2 hours. Afterwards, we were all sitting on the steps in towels outside eating snacks and I remember looking around and thinking "wow. I love my job." That's the moment I decided I really wanted to be a mom and that I loved nannying.
