A little bit about me

Hi, I am 21 years old and I have been working with young children for the past 5 years. Previously I have nannied for a family for two summers (children aged 11, 9, 7, and 5)
I also have lots of daycare experience. I have been an Aid, an Assistant Teacher, and most recently a Lead Toddler teacher! Toddlers are by far my favorite age to work with but I'm comfortable with any and all ages! I am First Aid and CPR Certified (recently renewed in August) I was also a competitive swimmer for 8 years so I'm very comfortable around water! I'm looking for a full time, long term position! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I most recently was a Lead Toddler teacher in a daycare (ages 16 months- 26 months) Teaching them self help skills, sign language, some spanish, counting, animals, etc. I have also previously worked in classrooms of up to 30 kids at a time. I typically worked with toddlers ages 1-3. But I also work with babies, and kids ages 4-12 as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some things I love doing with kids are going on walks, going to the park and running around, playing board games, doing puzzles, trying new crafts they've never done, building forts to play in, and playing hide and seek! I also love to try new things that the kids like to do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think this would be making sure the kids are always taken care of and providing them with anything they might need.

My experience with special needs children...

At the daycare I previously worked at, I took care of multiple special needs children. I also used to babysit a 4 year old special needs girl. So I do have experience with them and im open to work with them now!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when the kids get excited to see you and run up to the door to give you a hug when you get there, along with when they reach a new milestone (getting to watch them grow up)
