A little bit about me

I first began working with kids by helping to raise my live-in niece for 5-6 years, before leaving for college. Since moving to baltimore, I have worked consistently with one family over the past year, watching two young boys 3x per week. I have also worked occasional shifts for two other families in the neighborhood. I am currently completing my masters in Clinical mental Health counseling at Hopkins, during which I have completed advanced coursework in child development, and I have had the opportunity to work with children as a therapist.
I hope to work in childcare for the rest of my term in graduate school, given that I cannot work as a counselor until I have completed my degree!
I have a bachelors in Psychology from UNC, and I am an artist and classically trained musician. This means I love arts and crafts, and I can help with any music instruction.
I have a car, and I am happy to help with transport. I also enjoy and am happy to play games, outside sports, and love to cook!
