Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
dental assistant for most of my work history in VA where I’m x-ray certified. I worked in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics . I’ve also coach swim lessons for children as I’m lifeguard certified and CPR/first aid certified. I took special classes to be mommy and me baby certified for the little ones so if I work with your family I would be happy to give swim lessons with yours. I’ve also worked as a live out nanny in Virginia for two years for a lovely family with two small boys. It was the best job I ever had.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Painting, reading to or being read to, playing at the park, going on walks, roller skating, jumping rope, imaginary play, math trivia, board games, blowing bubbles, trips to the pool or beach (sunscreen is a must) trips to kid friendly learning museums, encouraging creativity, listening to what they have to say, teaching kindness and respect, and hugs!

As a swim coach one of my children had Sarabel palsy he just required a little bit more help in the pool.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Picking up Arav From the school bus his kindergarten year and first grade year. He was so happy to see me with all the other parents. I was always holding his baby brother. He would hug me and give his baby brother a kiss that was the sweetest part of my day.
