A little bit about me

I recently resigned as a second grade school teacher in KCKPS and still tutor some of my students. I do not intend to go back to that profession as I am writing my book and courses on License to Love: Don't Live Life Without It! I have played and been a youth soccer coach for 20 years, raised 10+ extra kids. My 2 biological children hold Bacelors degrees in psychology (KU, UCM). I hold a Masters of Teaching from K-State and my son is in his counseling psychology masters program at UCM. My children and I (they were 6 and 8) started an organization called Kids Committed to Kids and worked with hundreds of youth and their parents, running yearly fundraisers and donating the money to organizations committed to children. My life's purpose is to make sure kids grow up with a solid foundation of love, self-worth, education and social skills, like caring, compassion, creativity, curiosity, kind communication. My favorite kid movie is Harriet the Spy...that explains my Nanny style!
