Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Prescott Valley, AZ: Chauna M.
I’m currently a student at Yavapai college taking ASL (America Sign Language) and Infant/Toddler Development. I just finished a class in Early Childhood Education and received my CNA, (Certified Nursing Assistant). So as you can tell I have a huge passion for kiddos. My last job was taking care of a 4 year old little boy 3 nights a week. His family has since moved, but we still see each other as often as we can. I worked in a foster home for Medically Fragile Children before that. I was one of 10 care givers for up to 6 children at a time. Most of the kiddos were special needs, some with g-tubes and various medical problems. I truly loved this work and it was the reason I pursued my CNA. Before that I was a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for foster children. I have a certification as a NCS (Newborn Care Specialist) and have sleep training experience. I’m up to date on infant/ child CPR, have a fingerprint clearance card, and a current TB test.
