Hello there im Bethanne(bethany) i have worked with children in a childcare setting for 7+ years and i have a passion for chidren ages 0-4. I am very creative and absolutley LOVE doing fun projects with the kids. I enjoy educational and sensory activities and i dont mind getting messy...or cleaning it up when done. I have 2 years experience with infants and 5 with toddlers and preschoolers. I have all necessary certifications and will be flexible if you will. I have never done meal prep but i am more than willing to learn and do so before i start. I love people and have a drive to help people as much as possible. I am also a great communicator and know the appropriate way to speak to young children and teach them to communicate and regulate those Big emotions as well. I am willing to clean if you desire and i am great with pets as well...i love all animals(except snakes not gonna lie) i have reliable transportation and will do errands as well. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I LOVE all things creative! Whether it be making homeade slime, sensory bottles, beading necklaces, or making dinosaur fossils ive done it all and im all for it. I love to paint and get messy but also clean up when done of course. I love the outdoors and nature as well. Going to the park or for a walk around the neighborhood is always fun. Ive created my own calendar sets, educational activities and games like file folder games...i even made a crocodile out of a cascade container(Mr. Chompers was a real hit with the kids). Crafts are fun as well whether it be out of paper or clay/plaster of paris. I like children to get the most out of the experience and learn something while also having tons of fun in the process!!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Ive never been a nanny but ive got years and years of classroom/daycare experience. One of my favorite times are always the dance parties and songs. I enjoy movement and music. I also enjoy movement activities like yoga,simon says,and lots of movement songs. I even made up a few movement songs myself during my time in the classroom. Other times ive enjoyed are the small things like painting nails and dressing up/playing pretend. But my favorite moments by far are when i see a child have an aha moment. That moment when you can see they really understand what you are saying and catch on to what you are trying to teach them. Theres nothing more fulfilling as a childcare provider than those moments.
