To me the important part of being a nanny is being capable of understanding them. All kids are different and come from different backgrounds so it is important to try to understand them whether it is communication wise, or personality wise.

I baby sat a 2 year that had autism that I was not aware of because I did not know the signs. I am much older now a lot more educated on things like that.
