I have worked as a nanny for the past 3 years for three different families. I have taken care of newborns as well as elementary aged children. I have experience watching babies with special needs. Prior to working as a nanny, I was an elementary teacher.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking kids to the library as well as to other fun child-centered places around town. When we are at home I enjoy reading to kids and teaching them to bake. I like the child to take the lead so often it is the child coming up with activities for us to do, such as, washing quarters, finding the state quarters, and placing them on their corresponding state on a United States map. With babies and toddlers I work with them on building language skills, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills.
