More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have many years of experience working with all ages of children with different abilities/disabilities.
I began babysitting at an early age. Once I joined the workforce, I was employed by LEAP School preschool out of Concord, Sudbury, Lexington, and Bedford Ma. While at LEAP I was a co-teacher in a toddler classroom.
After LEAP, I became a full time nanny for a family in Lincoln. And after stating my own family, I nannied for a family in Concord.
After having our twins I decided to work for public schools and was lucky to be able to find a paraprofessional job in our town (at the time we lived in Maynard….we now live in Shirley).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing many things with children. Arts and crafts, playing outdoors, cooking, imaginative play, nature hunts, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is to keep the children in your care safe. Being on the same page as the children’s parents is key to being a trusted nanny. I am there working for “you”, so your rules are my rules. Having an open line of communication is necessary from day 1.
My experience with special needs children...
I would say I have quite a bit of experience with special needs children. I have worked as an ABA paraprofessional at Maynard Public Schools for about 13 years. This includes working 1:1 with children with a variety of abilities/disabilities. Autism spectrum disorder, Angelman syndrome, non-verbal children, and social /emotional/trauma cases.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One summer the girls I was nannying and I decided to try as many playgrounds as we could fit in to one summer vacation. Unfortunately, their family had to take an unexpected trip to India so our time was cut short…BUT I think in the short time we spent together that summer we experienced about 13 playgrounds!
