A little bit about me

Hello my name is Beysha, I’m 19 years old. I currently work at an after school program and I’m in charge of 27 amazing kids. I am trained in DCF (Department of children and Families), Children’s Trust, and CPR. I may be young however, I find that it simply makes it easier to bond with children and understand them. With that I create a trust with them that they can understand to be secure. I am mostly available on weekends and most breaks from school (Ie. winter break, thanksgiving break, spring break and teacher planning days) due to my part time job. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing art with children as I get to see their creativity. I love reading with children because their curiosity and questions about the story makes it somewhat funnier and more enjoyable. I love going out on walks with children because it gives them a chance to explore the outside world and use their senses. Playing games like I spy or red light green light. I love talking with children because you get a deeper understanding of what’s going on their little minds.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is understanding the child. Sometimes children labeled as difficult just needs a little more understanding and patience. It’s not easy being a child and you everyone telling you what you can an cannot do. So you work with them. It creates an amazing environment for the child to grow.
