More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an au pair for 2 years with a family of 3 kids (3 months, 2 years and 4 years old). I lived with them and did everything from waking them up, getting them dressed, making breakfast, to dropping them off at school and running errands for the mom, taking the younger two to playgrounds, museums, etc. I was also a nanny back in South Africa for 2 years. I am also with a family right now that has a 1 year old girl, but they’re moving out of state and won’t need me anymore. I have references available!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like cooking/baking with kids if they’re old enough. I love reading books as well. I like taking them to parks, museums, indoor playgrounds when it snows, etc. I like being out and about rather than sitting in the house all day. I obviously keep to a schedule and make sure they eat and nap on time!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part is making sure the kids are happy, healthy and fed! I can not imagine how it must feel to trust another human being with your kids, so I absolutely understand that it’s not always easy but I try my best to show you, you can trust me and I will take care of your babies like they’re my own.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Honestly there are so many. I think one of my absolute favorites is when the 3 month old boy I took care of took his first steps. I remember crying cause it was just so special that I got to experience that. I get very attached to the kids I take care of and I absolutely adore every single one. I’m still in contact with the family I lived with and babysit often for them.
