More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I bring over five years of childcare experience, starting as a teacher’s assistant at KinderCare daycare, where I supported children’s early learning and development for three years. I then worked as a personal nanny for two years, caring for a premature infant (4 months old when I started) and a toddler. These roles gave me hands-on experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and taught me the importance of patience, safety, and nurturing care. After spending the last year in the aviation industry, where I honed strong organizational and communication skills, I’m eager to return to my true passion—working with children and providing a safe, loving environment where they can grow and thrive.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping children engaged through fun and enriching activities. Outdoors, I enjoy taking them to the park for active play, visiting museums to spark curiosity, and exploring the zoo to connect with animals. Indoors, I like to create cozy, engaging experiences such as reading stories together, doing arts and crafts, baking simple treats, building puzzles, or setting up sensory play. I aim to balance play, creativity, and learning in age-appropriate ways so every day feels both fun and meaningful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel secure and cared for. It’s not just about supervision. It’s about building trust, nurturing their growth, and supporting their development through patience, creativity, and genuine connection. A nanny becomes an extension of the family, so showing reliability, open communication, and a true passion for children’s well-being is at the heart of the role.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was on one of the parents’ weekly date nights. To make the evening special, I set up a fun “make your own pizza” activity with the kids, complete with little bowls of toppings so they could be creative. As the older one was sprinkling on cheese, he suddenly looked up at me and said, “I love you.” It was so unexpected and heartfelt, and it reminded me how meaningful the bond between a caregiver and a child can be. That little moment has always stayed with me.
