The most important part about being a nanny...

It happened just last night. I stayed late and my little girl was missing her mom and dad and she didn’t want to go to sleep. I told her I would stay with her and began stroking her head and face. She quietly whispered, “can we talk?” I replied, “absolutely, what would you like to talk about?” She said, “can you tell me how much my mama and papa love me?” We then began a whispered discussion of how she has so many people in her life who love her. When she got to number thirteen, she drifted off.
