I am a recent graduate from the University of Southern California with a BA in Theatre. Hi! I am a high school senior graduating in June, and I will be attending UC Davis for undergraduate school beginning in September. I love working with children; I was a Counselor-in-Training at a summer camp from the ages of 12–15, was then promoted to a counselor, and I still work there as a lead counselor. Additionally, I volunteer at the Encino Community Center, providing childcare for youth ages 7–13. I have experience as a mentor for 30 middle school children, where I created lesson plans, taught fun lessons, tutored, and provided childcare. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have a driver’s license and a car. I take an optimistic and emotionally conscious approach when working with children. I love kids, I enjoy having company and I have a lot of patience with kids and pets. I have authority but I don’t reprimand kids, I make sure they are following the rules they’re accustomed to at home. I also have worked with kids before at the boys and girls club of which I’ve been a member for over 5 years. I also took ECE (early childhood development) with SMC for 2 semesters we learned a lot about how kids function at different stages in their life which benefits me as a sitter because it allows me to understand their needs.
