A little bit about me

I am a mom of 3 beautiful kids, 15, 20, 23. I have been a nanny for 9 years and was a stay at home mom for 14 years. I absolutely LOVE kids of all ages. I am also a huge animal lover. I have 3 cats, a dog and a bird. I love being silly, singing and cooking. Though I am not fluent in Spanish, I can definitely get by and know how to carry on a conversation. I’m very hard working and detail oriented. Cleaning and organizing are my specialties. I love taking kids out for adventures (park, library, music classes, the zoo, etc.) and would love to be able to create a fun environment. My one negative is that I’m HIGHLY allergic to everyone’s favorite scent….Lavender. I can’t smell it or touch it or my throat with close. I’m well versed in food allergies as I have celiac disease and follow a very strict gluten free diet. I also have knowledge with vegan and other dietary sensitivities/preferences. The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was during covid. I didn't work for the family for a couple of weeks while we figured things out. When I went back to work, the Mom said, "Look who's here, it's your Bran Bran," the baby then covered her eyes with her hands and had the most beautiful smile on her face and ran to me with open arms. I picked her up and she laid her head on me and we both cried and squeezed each other tight.
