More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience working with the Boys and Girls Club from 2022 to 2024, starting as a Program Specialist and advancing to Campus Director. During this time, I planned activities, ran the after-school site, and managed a variety of responsibilities, ensuring a fun and safe environment for kids. I’m especially skilled at building strong, trusting relationships with children, which helps me create a positive and supportive environment.
Currently, I work as a Kindergarten Assistant at a local elementary school, where I support students’ learning and growth in a structured classroom environment. I’m also pursuing my degree in Elementary Education, further deepening my understanding and commitment to working with children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m passionate about arts and crafts, as they allow kids to express their creativity and explore new skills. I also enjoy playing games that focus on developing social skills, like group games and team-building activities, which help kids interact and learn collaboration. Music is another big part of what I do, whether it’s singing, playing instruments, or exploring rhythms, as it’s a great way to engage children and develop both cognitive and emotional skills. Whatever the activity, I always aim to make it fun, meaningful, and a great learning experience!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the children and their families. It’s not just about providing care but creating an environment where children feel safe, understood, and supported. When children have a nurturing presence, they can grow, express themselves, and develop confidence. My role is to understand their individual needs, help them explore their interests, and offer patience and compassion every step of the way.
My experience with special needs children...
During my time at the Boys and Girls Club, I worked very closely with a small group of children on the autism spectrum, including those with behavioral issues and nonverbal children. I focused on integrating them into regular activities with their age group, ensuring they felt included and engaged. I adapted activities to meet their individual needs and provided extra support where necessary, such as using visual aids or offering structured breaks. I also worked on building social skills and communication, fostering a supportive environment that helped these children thrive. My experience with these kids deepened my understanding of their unique needs and reinforced my commitment to creating inclusive, nurturing spaces.
The most important part about being a nanny...
While this isn’t a traditional nanny moment, one of my most memorable experiences comes from my time at the Boys and Girls Club during the [phone number hidden] school year. I built strong relationships with a group of students and had the privilege of watching them grow from August to May. Seeing the spark in their eyes as they gained new skills and confidence was incredibly rewarding. It’s a feeling I’ll always cherish, and whenever I feel discouraged, I think back to the positive change I helped bring to their lives—and the change they brought to mine as well. It was a beautiful reminder of the impact we can have on each other’s lives.

hi my name is camara. thank you so much for checking my profile out i definitely find it awesome to take care of kids and interact with them. i also feel like just like parents nannie’s, babysitters, and teachers have a impact on your kids life so i try to be the best example for a child. Also i don’t smoke anything i did use to smoke vapes but i don’t do that anymore because i want to be all natural but i’ve been on the path of letting God led my way and he has done great things for me. and i would just like to put out there that i have a beautiful girlfriend and if you want me to be a live in nanny and we have our own place so if i was to move in to be a nanny she would have to come with me.
