More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in an after school daycare program that had me help teachers with bathroom breaks, hall monitoring. I also ran a classroom after school hours where we would play games and color. I have been a nanny before, I’ve definitely done my share of babysitting! But my most recent childcare experience was for a christian Preschool and Kindergarten Center. I was a head teacher there, and learned so much about early childhood education.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love coloring with kids, or playing games like: red light green light, what time is it Mrs. Clock. Doing crafts is so so much fun! Especially holiday crafts:) And I play piano and sing- so I hope they like music!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most is that the child realizes they aren’t a job, they are a precious life- and I hope to make them laugh, smile, feel safe and have good memories:)

My experience with special needs children...

My nephew has Down syndrome:) and he is an absolute joy in our lives!

The most important part about being a nanny...

When one of my daycare kids told me they loved me. It made me feel like all the hours I spent caring for them wasn’t done just for a paycheck. That little child knew I was investing time in them because I did care about their well being and them having a fun day:)
