I once watched a 5 year old boy who had a lose tooth and his parents game me permission to help him get it out since he had trouble with communication we played a game to decide what to do to get it out and ofc the parents was there and they even played the game too as a way of convincing he didn’t like to be touched so we did the old close the door tooth on a string (it’s what he chose and wanted to do) after preparing him and making sure he knew what was going to happen he did it all by himself and when his tooth came out it bounced and hit the floor and he spent hours pointing and signing he did it ! We were all so proud of him
