My name is Dillon (listed as my legal name due to site requirements), and I’m a transgender caregiver with 7 years of professional nannying experience. I’ve worked long-term with three families, primarily caring for children between 4 months to 4 years old. I’ve been with my current family since their daughter was 4 months—she’s now almost 3 and starting preschool this fall, which opens up my availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in September.

I bring a calm, creative, and developmentally supportive presence to the families I work with. I love teaching sign language and reading with infants, and I favor structure and routine—consistent nap and mealtimes, regular library classes, and daily outings to parks or play spaces. I love taking walks, going to the park, going to the library, and finding free local events to take children to stimulate and socialize them. I'm a big fan of crafts too!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I prioritize the child's safety as well as their confidence and independence. I enjoy speaking with the child and engaging in conversation even if they're not speaking yet (with babies I start sign language immediately) and having them help me with anything I'm doing when they feel like they want to. Cooking with them can get messy, but is so fun!
