I am Canadian born, all my experience with work has been with kids in some shape or form. My education background is a teaching degree that targets kindergarten to grade 5. I also tutored ages 6 to 14 for several years as well as home schooled for a family full time for 2 years.
Before I moved to the states to be with my husband, I worked 3 years in a government funded program called EarlyON which targeted families who didn't have money for daycare, nanny work, or babysitting. I worked with families from new borns up to age 6 in this program. I also experienced a year of working with children with special needs that included Autism and Down Syndrome during Covid.
My experience is vast and is deeply rooted in understanding and meeting children where they are at. I work with the family unit as well to help foster the best environment.
