Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have most recently cared as a nanny of a 2 yr old full time including meals, naps, playtime and out of the house adventures hiking, Apple picking, bath and bed routines. I also have babysat since I was a teenager but my most favorite role is being a single mom of an adult son who I’ve always been 100% hands on room mom, sport mom, percussion mom, field trips, you name it, I love it all. In the past, I went to college at ISU originally for elementary education & I’ve been the teacher in a 2yr old classroom at a nursery school. I’ve also been an aide in nursery schools/daycares too.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Adventuring of any kind! Outside activities anytime possible! I enjoy anything from playing games, dance parties, fort building, obstacle courses, coloring, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, reading time, computer educational games, hide and seek, bike rides, movies, library time, anything with live music. Heck I love just simple conversations with kids, keeps me young! 😉
