My favorite memory with child care is one Christmas with a family of a 5 year old, when she asked to facetime with me to show me her new games she was excited to play with together! It made me realize how she had been looking forward to spending time together on a daily basis rather than think I’m just a stranger being paid to ensure her happiness for a few hours a day.
