My mom had a daycare for many years while I was growing up. Some of those children had special needs. Everyday after school I would come home and help her with the children.

I enjoy playing games including board games, educational games, drawing, games the children create on their own. I enjoy going to the park, riding bikes, chalk, and just playing outside in general with children.

My experience with special needs children...
When I was in elementary school there was this place called San Gabriel west on our campus. It was were some of the special needs children elementary age would go. Most of them were in wheelchairs and weren’t verbal. During my recesses, I would go in and help feed some of them. I would also get permission to take them outside and go on a walk with them. So I would push them around in their wheelchair and just talk to them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories would have to be the time I took the children bowling. Their parents gave us some money to go out and do something fun and they wanted to go bowling. It was a time filled with laughs and all around great memories.
