Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I had a home daycare for years and before that worked at a daycare center and preschool. Besides all my years of professional experience I also have years of personal experience. From my first nanny job when I was 13 till today,I still care for family and friends babies besides my own.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love crafts and have all my own supplies for the children and me. I also love visiting any and all libraries as I absolutely love reading. And last but not least (& not last) I love cooking and baking and also have all my own supplies including decorations for every holiday. I thoroughly enjoy making cookies for parents with their kids,& decorating cupcakes for every day enjoyment or for special occasions or both. The kids love presenting their family with these homemade gifts of love and I don’t know any loved ones who don’t love special gifts made by their own child’s hands. I love that!

Well besides obviously making sure the children are safe and sound then it would have to be patience and consistency. Definitely.

I have experience with children on the spectrum including several of my immediate family members. Also with depression,add/adhd and several other diagnosis.

One of the kids I cared for had never been with anyone other than his mom so he was not pleased she was leaving him with me. Once I patiently waited his outburst and tantrums out he became
my best friend. I knew he wasn’t actually throwing a tantrum he was just scared which is completely understandable. He even helped me do all his mom’s laundry and fold it and put it away. She didn’t ask me to even do it I just wanted to surprise her because she was a great single mom and her son was her life. The look
on his face when he brought mommy to her room to show her what we did was priceless. She said he had never looked so proud and I bet she hadn’t either!
