All of my memorable and favorite jobs have been with children. I started watching children at the age of thirteen as an after school job for some neighbors down the street. Then at the age of sixteen I got a job at a daycare in the toddler room, I was a caregiver and role model. My responsibilities included feeding them, changing diapers, taking them on walks, teaching them to walk, potty train, talk, shapes, colors, numbers, and how to interact with other children. While working at the daycare I started keeping infants and toddlers for parents when they traveled. In the summer I would work at the daycare during the day and nanny in the evenings for several different families or on weekends when they went out of town. I also worked as a kindergarten teacher at a small private school . As a kindergarten teacher I taught children reading, writing, math, social play, ect. I also have experience as a pre-k teachers assistant in a public school here in OKC. I have nannied for several families which included living with them and being apart of their everyday lives and activities. I have nannied for every age from infant to sixteen years of age. One of my biggest passions in life is working with children. I have also been very active in my church. I taught Sunday school for pre-k and was also a small group leader in our high school youth group. I have also been a camp counselor and have been very involved in mission work. I am very hands on with children and love to engage/ interact with them in learning. I currently have a Bachelors degree in Education but am in the process of finishing up my pre- req classes for a Bachelors in Nursing. I am very energetic, adventurous and love to be outdoors! I also love all sports but my favorite is soccer, I started playing at the age of 5 and played through college. I am very laid back and easy going, but also very organized and clean. I have been blessed to be apart of several wonderful families in the past and look forward to becoming apart of an additional family:)

There are four children in my family, and I'm the oldest by 8 & 12 years, so I have been caring for children since I was about 8 years old. I have had countless babysitting jobs throughout my life. My father is a pastor, so most of the families I babysat for came from the church. I was a sitter mostly on weekends throughout high school, and had jobs at least one weekend day most every weekend. I watched kids who ranged in age from infant to 12 or 13 years old. The most challenging babysitting job I ever took on was for a small group in the church, which consistently had about 20 children for three hours every Thursday night. I recruited help for that one. :) More recently, I nannied for a family for two years in college. I picked their 8 year old up from school every day, and made sure homework was completed and household chores were caught up before his parents got home from work. I enjoyed my time with this family very much, as it taught me a lot about patience and taught me how to effectively communicate and engage with a child with autism. I continue to babysit on occasion, but would like something more consistent, such as a nannying position. I enjoyed my time nannying college so much that I would love to have another opportunity to!

Hello, my name is Blanca and I am a 42-year-old caregiver. Since 1992, I have always taken care of many children for multiple families. As a result, I have more than 10 years of experience like a nanny. I, myself, am a proud mother of two beautiful children. When they were young, I would provide for them by taking care of other children. A few years later, I realized that I wanted to pursue this profession further. It was then, that I decided to enroll at Glendale Community College (GCC), in Glendale, AZ, in the fall of 2005. I obtained my Associate's Degree in Child Development. It is crucial to learn the proper safety procedures and regulations prior to taking care for children. For this reason, I have also taken other courses, online, to enhance my current knowledge in the field. When I moved to Oklahoma in 2009, I began to work in a daycare, and eventually became a Master Teacher. During my time working at the daycare, I was responsible for the care of a 2-month infant who suffered from heart problems. I was in charge of monitoring the Electric Cardiograph(ECG) to ensure his heart rate was normal. Two years later, I cared for a boy and a girl, in my home, for over a year. I am also a fully devoted Christian who has always loved to work with children. I am a responsible, caring, and hardworking individual who will provide quality childcare to your children. If my childcare services interest you, please feel free to contact me through my Care.com profile. Thank you for your consideration!

I began my training at xx Center in the Early Care and Education of Children class (a 2-year-program) where we spent time in the classroom learning about child development and care, and would also work in the daycare facility on site with ages 2-5. After I completed my training I worked in the daycare at xx as a lead teacher in the 3-year-old room. I decided to become a nanny and worked for my first family from January 2008 until August 2011 watching a (then) 6-month old boy. I also worked as a nanny for a different family (we had a nanny share) beginning in March of 2008 (a then 8-month old and her 4-year-old brother), and I am currently still working for this family. I was also a nanny for a newborn boy from October 2009 until July 2011 when I went to school for my bachelor's degree in Psychology. I graduated with my degree in May of 2015.

I have worked in both daycare centers and as a live-out nanny for several families. I worked for 5 years with my last family. I started caring for my charge when he was only 4 months old and was responsible for his care until he started kindergarten at age 5. I love to be with children. They are always so eager to learn and this brings me great joy and pride for them. I worked with 2 year olds as a daycare teacher for over three years and loved it. I enjoy the home environment best because I feel it is more comfortable for the child and it gives them a greater sense of security because they are in a familiar environment. I have also worked with infants and school age children. I am now working full-time for a family of two, soon to be three and have been with them for 3 years.

Hello! I have at least 6 years experience babysitting. Being 3rd in the line of 8 children I have no trouble when it comes to taking care of multiple children at a time. One of my previous jobs included taking care of three children ages 13, 10, and 7 during the summertime. Some of my responsibilities included: meal prep (i love to cook!), pick ups, drop offs, transporting to and from after school activities. I also enjoyed playing board games, outside play: jumping on trampolines, traveling to local parks, bike rides, drawing with chalk, picnics; arts and crafts sessions with popsicle sticks, macaroni, paint, crayons, etc; and also teaching piano. My schedule is very open right now. I have no conflicts whatsoever, so I am able to work whenever you need me to and also on a short notice. I have the passion to work with children and enjoy the part of watching them grow up. Even though I am only 20 years old I take my responsibilities very seriously, I get along with children very well, I am also extremely punctual, and I would assure you of my honesty and integrity.
