After receiving my bachelors degree in psychology I soon found my love for working with children. Following graduation I worked in the ABA field as a behavior technician. Later on I stepped into the nanny field and have been hooked for about 5 years. I absolutely love building such special bonds with children and watching them grow but most of all having fun with them.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a behavior technician for 1.5 years. In that position I worked with children ages 2-18 years old who were diagnosed with autism. Afterwards I became a nanny for a family with 2 children ages 1.5 and 3 years old, where I stayed with them for about 3 years. My most recent position was with a family with 2 children ages 3 and 5 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love indoor activities such as arts and crafts, dancing, playing make believe, etc. I also love being outdoors and going for walks, playing at and discovering new parks, riding bikes/scooters, playing chalk, water activities and so on. Not only do I enjoy these activities but I also love going to the zoo, children museums, the library, jump zones, and other fun places.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is building a strong and special bond with my nanny children. I want them to know that I love them like family and that they can trust me and have fun with me. I want them to know that I’m a safe space and that they’re cared for.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with autism, those who were low and high on the spectrum. I’ve also cared for a child that had a rare disease effecting his physical development as well as his cognitive development. This child had a feeding tube as well as many therapies that I attended and aided in.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many favorite nanny moments but if I had to pick one it would be the small moments when many of the children I’ve nannied for have looked up at me and told me they love me.
