I love reading to the kids, since it helps with broaden their imagination, listening, and speech. I also love doing puzzles since it helps with their memory and also a good time to decompress and just be in the moment. I also enjoy doing silly things like dressing up, making crafts, and overall just letting the child decide what things they may want to do to make the experience more fun and get them comfortable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I say the most important part of being a nanny is having a kid be comfortable with you. To look to you if they’re hurting, confused, excited, mad because that means they trust you. Also, seeing their accomplishments and just letting them know there’s another person here for you who care about you to the fullest.

I have experience with special needs I have plenty of family members and also an immediate family member, my brother. I know when it comes to special needs children you’ll need patience and understanding. Because they may not get what you think they might or they may need it explained to them or taught to them in a different way and that’s perfectly okay.
