A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Brianna. I am the oldest sibling of three so that is really where my child care experience started. From there it was babysitting neighborhood kids and eventually nannying full time for a family down the street. My experience in a more professional setting, includes working at a daycare/preschool center and being a teachers aid for a second grade class.
I would describe myself as creative, responsible, and compassionate . In my free time I enjoy spending time outside with my dog and trying new things. I have always loved children and the energy they bring to every moment. I did theatre for about 12 years of my life so I love engaging in pretend and imaginative play. Children are naturally very inquisitive so I always try to engage and grow their interest in the world around them. Overall I strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your child while also engaging their mind and fostering their passions.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in multiple professional childcare settings, one of the more recent ones being a daycare where I was a float. During this job I worked with every age in the daycare as a backup teacher. After working there for a while I decided to become a nanny where I worked at a local agency. I provided ongoing and backup care for families all across south east Michigan.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

One of the main reasons I love working with children is I love seeing the world through their eyes. I love to make children feel comfortable and safe by learning about them and their interests to provide activities that they enjoy doing and are excited about. I love being outside so one of my main goals when I am watching a child is to get them outside as much a possible, weather permitting of course!

My experience with special needs children...

I have a lot of experience working with children who are neurodivergent. My experience is mostly with children who are on the autism spectrum or have ADHD.
