I like to do art/crafts, play outside, go to pool, play with toys, and much more! I like doing the activites that your child is most interested in, from video games to coloring, I love doing it all!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being present. This means always knowing what the kids are up to and where they are. It is important to not only know these things but engage with them. If they're playing with dolls, ask them questions or play with them. If their playing video games and need some alone time, checking in on them every once in a while. It is important to know what is going on at all times, and more beneficial for the kids too!
My experience with special needs children...
I do have minimal experience working with children with special needs. During summer camp and an afterschool program, I worked with children with a range of differences. From autism to behavioral habits, I do believe I am able to work with children that have all different types of needs.
