A little bit about me

I am silly, goofy and always having a fun time whilst maintaining responsibility. I am very passionate about health and fitness. In my spare time I’m either spending it with my dog (German Shepard/ husky) or training gymnastics. During the summer I am out fishing everyday and going on hikes as often as possible.

I come from a big family with lots of little siblings, nieces and nephews that I love spending time with. I am patient and understanding of how each child is an individual and in that, has different needs. When destructive behaviors occur, I am good at navigating any situation and staying calm to find a solution. Though, often you’ll find me making funny cowgirl impressions, or maybe other silly impressions to encourage a fun atmosphere.

I have coached gymnastics for all ages and levels for 3 years. I have less than one year experience in ABA therapy for children from the ages 1-9.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time outdoors. Whether that’s finding small critters to observe or having fun on the playground. There’s endless possibilities of activities outside!

On the other hand I’ll always enjoy a board game, movies, or reading books. I enjoy learning about each child’s interests and investing time in those.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience in ABA therapy. I applied ABA therapy through the natural environment to help children cope and direct healthy behaviors. Here I worked with kids that have Autism, ADHD, and other disorders that caused delays physically/mentally. Through coaching gymnastics I have worked with children that have ADHD, Autism and hearing deficiencies.
