A little bit about me

Hello! I am Brielle, and I am a recent high school graduate. I am looking for babysitting jobs in the St. Petersburg area. I have been babysitting since the age of 15 and am experienced with school age children and above. I have volunteered and coached basketball to young athletes at my local church as well, and I enjoy keeping active and staying healthy. I also had my own business for private basketball lessons before I had to relocate for school. I do have reliable transportation (car) and am able to cook, clean, and perform other household chores as well as run errands. Additionally, I am able to assist with homework and or other tasks that a child may benefit from. I have completed a CPR certification course and am familiar with caring for sick. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for children at my local church as well as for families. As of now, I have only cared for girls, but I am open to either gender. I have also only cared for 1 or 2 children at a time, but am willing to adapt.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking kids to the park to play sports, run around, or just get exercise. I believe exercise is extremely important, as I have grown up as an athlete my entire life. I am very well equipped with the skills to play a variety of sports. I was a state championship swimmer when I was young, and I have played basketball and soccer consistently throughout high school. I also believe that it is important to keep up with some sort of education for at least 20 mins a day to keep their minds growing. Additionally, with parental permission, I am able to drive the child(ren) to their extracurricular activities that they may be involved in or I am able to plan special days for them as well. I love keeping the kids active and engaged while also having fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is protecting the children and ensuring their safety. Secondly, I believe that the kids must have fun and be able to make memories- Summers as a child are limited, so it is the best that we make the most out of them. I also believe that making sure the kids are comfortable, but also willing to step out of their comfort zone and trying new things is important too.
