A little bit about me

Hello! My first jobs were all in childcare, in middle school I stared babysitting and continued through high school where I started working in Sunday schools. In college I was involved in volunteer tutoring programs for local children from low-income or otherwise disadvantaged families, and spent time at a high school working with kids to create projects about social issues they were passionate about. In 2019 I was a camp counselor at Camp Galileo, and I have worked as a para-teacher in a seventh grade science classroom. During the pandemic I worked at an at home daycare for kids five and under, and got experience preparing meals for babies/toddlers, cleaning up after them, and keeping them entertained. I speak both Chinese and French, though not fluently, and I fancy myself a good homework helper. I'm a total crafter, and love planning activities and projects for kids of all ages to express their creativity, and be able to make something they are excited to show off and talk about!
