Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing a bit of everything and have lots of energy, I learned how to play most sports since I was little. Besides doing outdoor activities, I also love doing indoor activities even as simple as just watching tv, painting/drawing, playing board games, just anything:)
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience taking care of a smart and lovely kid with down syndrome, he would only be able to speak sign language so I started learning sign language to make it easier for him to communicate. I have also volunteered to help other children with different special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most memorable moment was when a kid drew me in my uniform from the police and wrote “Thank you for keeping us safe. I appreciate all you do. Stay safe”. It might seem like a simple gesture to others, but for me, it was really sweet and helped keep going forward even if i had a bad day while on duty. I put the drawing in my PD locker room so i could see it before and after work and give me motivation to give it all for my community.
