A little bit about me

I am 25 years old! I have been taking care of children for over 10 years, I started babysitting when I was 11 or 12 and continued to babysit through my teenage years. When I was 18 I was able to be a nanny for 4 precious children (ages 7, 3(twins), and 1) . After that I worked in a daycare for a summer. Then I had the opportunity to become a preschool teacher for a non profit preschool program for low income, at risk children and family. After moving to South Florida I have nannied for three families in ages ranging from 10 months to 8 years old!
I am currently enrolled in online school earning a BA in creative writing and English that I do on my own time!
I am CPR and First Aid Certified and I have a resume upon request.

I have watched children in the church nursery, gone on several mission trips in which we led VBS. Taught VBS at my church growing up. Worked as a preschool teacher for a daycare and a non profit preschool program.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to color, arts and crafts, run around, make playdough, read books, have dance parties, play outside!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being reliable, honest, and having fun with the children is most important. I try to practice good morals and teach them to the children I watch. Like saying thank you, promoting help with cleanup and I know that my attitude, and actions will be copied by the kids so I have to be a good role model and friend to them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children who had cerebral palsy. Three different kids who had varying degrees of cerebral palsy. They were amazing kids.
