Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to make crafts with the kids. Baking is always a fun activity. During the summers going to the pool, park, walking the pets, sweet treat runs and even just simply playing outside at the house too is always on the top of my list! Reading books, singing and dancing, making forts, and dance parties are good for the little ones too :). I love to incorporate educational time even during the summer for the littles like reading, counting, and things to do during a set period called quiet time which I believe is essential during a Childs day!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
While safety is always the most important part, the next runner up would be ensuring the kids can feel comfortable and be themselves around you. The kids want their days to be filled with fun and joy just as you do so creating a connection with the kids helps days run smoothly and rule following ultimately becomes easier too!
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience with special needs kids but I am not experienced too much. Kids with ADHD I tend to get along with more than others because ive grown up around it my entire life! Autism is something I am always pretty good with and would love to learn more about how I can make a difference. All these children are human too and deserve the same love and support as any other child :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have never nannied before but I do babysit my 4 year old sister and our favorite thing to do is draw with chalk outside! have been wanting to find a family to create memories with for a long time now!
