A little bit about us
We are looking for a long-term, caring, and energetic babysitter to watch our three children once a week so my husband and I can enjoy date nights. Hours may increase over time, and we’d love someone flexible who can occasionally provide last-minute coverage when needed. Beginning in summer 2026, this role may grow into a part-time nanny position.
More than just a sitter, we want someone who feels like family. Our kids formed a wonderful bond with their last nanny (who sadly had to move back home), and building that same type of strong, positive connection is very important to us.
We’re wanting someone who not only enjoys spending time with kids but also helps keep our household running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
• Engaging the kids with fun, age-appropriate activities (we prefer interactive play over screen time, but they also enjoy the occasional movie night bonus if you can plan a themed activity around it!)
• Coming prepared with simple activities or games is a must I'd love this organized and shared before each month so the kids know what they are looking forward to when you come. (we have plenty of board games, craft supplies, and the kids love baking, imaginative play, and outdoor time)
• Light tidying up after dinner and playtime
• Helping with the bedtime routine (when working evenings)
• Completing the children’s laundry during your shift (clothes will usually be washed and dried, just need help folding and putting away)
We’re looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and fun — a sitter who can bring both joy and structure to our kids, while forming a strong bond and becoming part of the family.
