I love keeping things fun and engaging! Some of my favorite activities to do with kids include going on walks, visiting parks and zoos, doing arts and crafts, reading books together, playing educational games, and exploring fun learning activities. I also enjoy sensory play, imaginative games, and anything that helps them learn while having a great time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the children are having fun while also feeling safe, cared for, and supported. I believe in creating a positive environment where they can enjoy themselves, learn, and thrive. It’s also important to me that they have everything they need, from emotional support to daily routines that work for them. A good schedule, consistency, and lots of laughter go a long way in helping kids feel happy and secure!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was teaching a 2nd grader how to tie her shoes. She had been struggling with it for a while and was starting to get frustrated. We practiced together with lots of patience and encouragement, and the day she finally tied them all by herself, her face lit up with pride! It was such a special moment to share, helping her gain confidence and independence reminded me why I love working with kids so much.
