A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Brooke Hunley. I am 21 years old and I have always had a passion for working with children. I took a child care pathway through the high school I attended. Where my passion for kids really grew more. I loved making up lesson plans for the kids that we had come to my school's little day care. I loved helping each child individually and having a different bond with each child. Watching them start off and grow and learn and turn into their own little person is truly amazing for me. And to know that i'm a reason they are learning and holding this information and taking it to grow into their own tiny personalities is such an amazing journey to watch and experience. By the time I graduated I had my 90 hour certification for infant / toddlers. I am also infant and child certified in CPR. Child Care is definitely a career path that i've had a destiny for.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My experience with kids is very broad. I have worked with a family of triplets from when the triplets were six weeks to a year and a half. They were my first real nanny job! They taught me so much I wouldn't have gotten the experience without them. I also worked with a family that has had 2 kids. I took a break from being a nanny and became a teacher in daycare so I worked with infants and toddlers as well as a lead teacher for two and three-year-olds. I have decided to go back into the one- on-one just The family and Me setting. I have always know I wanted to work with kids. I truly have a strong passion for kids.

some activities that I love doing with children would be sensory activities, Any activities were their more hands on and then just listening to me or watching me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

what matters to me most about being a nanny is. Just being able to help the family be able to have comfort knowing that their child is in good hands while they're going to provide for their child and family. For them to know that they have someone that will Care and Love and take the safety and well being of their child just as serious and important as they do. But to know I am teaching and loving and caring for the child while their parents are at work or running an errand I love the feeling of knowing that I am helping in someway. And that I able to relieve them of the stress of knowing their babies are okay and safe.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I truly believe if you love being a nanny and you love doing what you do. Its very hard to explain one of your favorite moments. Every moment with the child your nannying is a special moment. Your watching a little innocent soul learn and grow into someone that's going to be so intelligent one day.
