Hi, my name is Brooke (she/they), and I am a first semester senior who is studying Women's and Gender Studies at Saint Mary's College. As the narrative goes, kids love me as I love kids. I would say this because kids like the level of respect, attention, and straightforwardness that I give them. As a child at one point, I too loved and enjoyed adults when they treated me like this. With that being said, the kids whom I work best with are those who enjoy learning, funny/witty humor, reading, playing sports/video games, and playing with pets! I also work well with children who are on the spectrum as I have grown up knowing the struggles, the frustrations, and the gifts that it can bring. Overall I would say that I do well with pre-school students, elementary students and middle school students. If your child/children need tutoring in math or English, I can help as well.
