Hi! We are new parents with a 5-month old named Finn. We’ll need help taking care of him while we work from home about 2-3 days a week (typically Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but days may vary depending on work). We’d also love someone who can do light housekeeping while taking care of baby. Thanks so much in advance!

Hello! I will be returning to work in SF in April. Our baby girl will be 5 months old by then. We are looking for a nanny who can work 8am-6pm for four or five days a week and is open to a nanny share situation with another family.

We are ideally looking for a nanny share with parents of other toddlers, or with a nanny who is already caring with another toddler or toddlers.

We are looking for full time care, but have flexibility. I (her mom) work full time, and my husband is an academic between jobs, so we can be a bit flexible on hours.

Our daughter Valerie is very kind and empathetic, but also can be boisterous and energetic, just like any 2-year-old. :) We have been living in the UK and are moving back to the Bay Area, so she has a slight British accent at the moment. Valerie has been in full time nursery/day-care during the week since she was 7 months old, and has been very happy in a social environment with other children. It would be ideal to find a situation with another 1-2 toddlers who are between 1 and 4 years old. (Valerie turns 3 years old in August 2019.) She loves painting, drawing, playing pretend and playing outside. She spends a lot of play time at home caring for her "babies" (dolls and stuffed animals), and takes a great interest in other toddlers both younger and older than her. She would do well with another 1-year old or with other 2 or 3 year olds, I think.

She has spent time (over holidays) with both dogs and cats, and does not have any cat/dog allergies. She has a sensitivity to peanuts (her eyes get swollen, mouth gets red) so we are avoiding nuts, per medical advice, to prevent a full peanut allergy.

On potty training: we did infant potty training, starting from a very early age. Valerie usually does well (goes without accidents) but if she is transitioning to a new environment, I'm sure she'll need time to adjust.

Working from home during covid and need childcare while we're on our computers. We have a play room and both kids have their own rooms.

We are seeking a part-time nanny, who can reliably provide childcare Tuesday-Thursday, with flexibility for an additional half day-approximately 28 hours per week. We are both employed and live in a three-bedroom condo in Lafayette.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of childcare experience, preferably with specific experience with infants 6-12 months old. We would love to find a nanny who can commit to stay with us for at least 6 months or more.

Familiarity with sleep training, post high school degree, and CPR and first-aid certification preferred. Must be a non-smoker.

Our family is very careful about COVID and does not socialize with others outside of immediate family who are also self-isolating. Applicant’s lifestyle should minimize COVID exposure including mask wearing in public, social distancing and living with individuals doing the same.

Interested applicants should provide a brief resume, including their professional childcare experience, as well as two professional references.
